I bought this single through eBay from a German seller, thinking it was the regular edition, which I also didn't have at that moment. When the CD reached me, I found out to my surprise that it was the promotional edition that was sent to me. When I finally got the regular edition, I found out that the sleeve of the promotional edition was a little different, the picture is more zoomed.

4. The chase (Sezam's intro 2 trance mix) [7'23]
5. The chase (instrumental edit) [3'10]

I bought this single through eBay from a German seller. I already had the promotional edition, but I was still looking for the regular edition. Included was a sheet on which you could answer some questions and win something. At a gig of Rednex in Kaunitz in Summer 2004 I met the band and let Scarlet & Dagger authograph the front sleeve as you can see. Joe Cagg & Jay Lee were not in the band anymore at that time. However producer Ranis also autographed the sleeve. Two years later I met Joe Cagg when he performed with his solo-act Sirius DoG, and he autographed the sleeve. As an extra he also autographed the back of the plastic CD-case as his alter ego 'Sirius DoG'.

Because the seller couldn't send outside Australia I asked an Australian friend of mine to pay for the item. The seller sent it to him and my friend on his turn sent it to me. In return I sent something from the Netherlands to my friend that he was looking for. The CDROM can't be played on a CD-player, but strangely enough I can't get this CDROM to play properly on my computer as well, as it can't find the files that should be on the CDROM. It was very funny to find out that it DOES play in my DVD-player, because DVD's hardly even excisted at the time that this CDROM was released.

For a long time I didn't know there were more than 1 Rednex album released. In the end of 2002 I found this CD in a secondhand CD-shop in Apeldoorn for a bargain price. I bought it and it was the start of a Rednex-collection which has became bigger and bigger by now. The album contains a promotion sticker on the front stating "incl. Hitsingles 'Spirit of the hawk' und 'The way I mate'", which is also the proof of this being a German pressing. At a gig of 'The original members of Rednex' in Bielefeld in Summer 2004 I met the band and let them authograph the front booklet as you can see.

I bought this album through an Australian friend of mine. He knew that I was looking for it and suddenly he found it somewhere. He bought it for me and in return I sent my friend something from the Netherlands that he was looking for. The Australian edition contains three extra tracks compared to the European edition. There are also some mispressings of this album around with the unreleased track 'Swamp love' instead of 'Come closer to me', which unfortunately can't be seen from the sleeve. You have to play the disc to find this out.

In the end it turned out that the seller lived in the same place as me and that I actually knew him because he had a collectors record shop a few years. 1. The hix off [1'46]

This single was available as an official download through i-Tunes. By the time I found out about this, the song was not available anymore. However, I have gotten this song earlier from the bandmembers themselves, so I burned it on CD and made a sleeve myself using the original artwork that came with the release. Although the sleeve says '(live)' this is not a live track at all, but simply the studio recording of the tape that was used as an opener on the live shows.

I bought this album on eBay from an Australian seller. However this was without the big carton box. Later it was offered again on eBay by another (German) seller, this time with the carton box and for a bargain price, so I bought it again to get the set complete. Track 1 of the disc contains the 'Inbred with Rednex' game, which can only be played in a computer, and track 2, 3, 4 & 5 are audio tracks which play in a normal CD-player. However inside the game (so inside track 1) are some more hidden tracks: 2 unreleased songs and 3 video's. When you put the CD ROM in your computer and cancel the set-up, you can search on the CD ROM for various QuickTime-files and 5 of them are these exclusive tracks.

I saw this album for the first on a record fair in Arnhem around 1998, but it lasted until 2004 that I bought it through eBay from a German seller. It's a reissue of the first Rednex album with some bonus tracks that were only available on singles or nowhere available at the moment. Added is a free CD-ROM with the game 'Hieroglyph' which strangely has nothing to do with Rednex.

I got an answer stating that he really could only send inside Australia, but at that time the auction had already ended. However nobody had bid on it. I asked him if it would be allright if an Australian friend would buy it for me. That was allright, so my Australian friend sent the payment to the seller, the seller sent the CD to my friend and afterwards my friend sent the CD to me. In return I sent my friend something from the Netherlands that he was looking for.

WITH BELLS ON (mcds) For Promotion Only
2007 Sweden (2'48) Nordic Talent Records NTR S-03

1. With bells on [2'46]

I bought this single at an internet collector's record shop. It was released for promotional purposes only. On the front is a sticker stating "En jullhälsning från Rednex!". Very strange detail is that this single, and thus this song, was never released as a commercial single. Even more strange is that after this formation of Rednex lost their rights to perform under the name Rednex and went on under the name "The Cotton Eye Joe Show" this single was re-released under that name.
